Horsewood basics: what it is and who stands behind it

Horsewood is a capsule sold as a dietary supplement, not a medicine. These answers cover the product type, the FDA rules and the names on the bottle.

Is Horsewood a drug or a dietary supplement?

Horsewood is sold as a dietary supplement. Under a 1994 law, supplements are regulated as a special kind of food, not as drugs (FDA, 2015).

Does Horsewood need a prescription?

No. Supplements are sold without one. If you already take a prescription medicine, show the Horsewood label to your pharmacist before you add it.

Did FDA approve Horsewood before it went on sale?

No. FDA has no authority to approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold (FDA, 2022). The label carries the standard line saying FDA has not evaluated its statements.

What does “manufactured in an FDA registered facility” mean on Horsewood?

It describes the factory, not the capsule. A registration is a listing of the plant, and FDA does not issue registration certificates (FDA, 2024).

Who is named on the Horsewood bottle?

The distributor line on the label reads: Horsewood, 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773. The manufacturer's name is not printed.

Who takes Horsewood orders?

Orders go through the USA Authorized Retailer. Its order desk at +1 (641) 711-1414 handles tracking, changes and refunds.

Horsewood label questions: capsule, origin and amounts

The Horsewood label prints an amount for every ingredient, which makes most label questions easy to settle. A few gaps remain, such as elemental boron and the gelatin source.

Horsewood label flattened into three panels on dark brown: suggested use, storage, caution and distributor on the left, the front with the HORSEWOOD wordmark, a horse illustration, Male Enhancement and 60 capsules, and the Supplement Facts panel on the right
The full label laid flat. The Supplement Facts panel on the right shows seven lines that add up to 118 mg per two-capsule serving.
Are Horsewood capsules vegetarian?

No. The capsule shell is gelatin, which comes from animals. A pack badge says vegetarian, but the ingredient list on the label wins.

Is Horsewood halal or kosher?

The label makes neither claim, and the source of the gelatin is not stated. If either matters to you, ask the order desk before you buy.

Why do some Horsewood graphics show six ingredients?

The seller pack names six and omits sarsaparilla. The bottle label lists seven, each with its own amount, so read the label.

Does Horsewood contain 1,000 mg of tongkat ali?

No. One serving holds 10 mg of a 100:1 extract. The label says that equals about 1,000 mg of dry root powder, which is a conversion, not the weight in the capsule.

How much elemental boron does Horsewood hold?

That is not published. The label lists 20 mg of boron amino acid chelate, which is the weight of the whole compound, so the boron itself is lower.

Is Horsewood made in the USA?

The label says “Assembled in the USA.” The sales site says “Made in USA.” Those are different claims, and the label wording is the one on the bottle.

Each label line is explained on the supplement facts page.

How to take Horsewood: dose, storage and other products

Take two Horsewood capsules a day with water, as the label says. These answers cover the one-capsule confusion, storage and mixing with other products.

Why do some Horsewood ads say one capsule a day?

The sales page and a paid press release say one capsule. The label says two capsules daily with an 8 oz glass of water. Follow the label.

How many days does a Horsewood bottle last?

One bottle holds 60 capsules, which is 30 servings at two a day. That is a 30-day supply, so six bottles cover 180 days.

Can Horsewood be taken with a multivitamin?

The label does not address it. Some multivitamins also list boron, and adults should stay under 20 mg of elemental boron a day (NIH ODS, 2022), so add up both labels with your pharmacist.

Is Horsewood safe with grapefruit or alcohol?

The label says nothing about either one. No interaction data exist for the finished capsule, so ask a pharmacist if you drink often or take medicine.

How long does an opened bottle of Horsewood keep?

The label text we have gives no shelf life after opening. Keep the lid closed, store the bottle away from heat, light and humidity, and check any date stamped on it.

Can I take extra Horsewood if I feel nothing?

No. The label says not to exceed the recommended dose of two capsules a day. More capsules do not make the research doses line up.

Building the habit. The label gives no time of day. Pick one you can keep, such as breakfast, and take both capsules together with 8 oz of water.

Routine ideas sit on the how to use page.

Horsewood safety questions to settle first

The main Horsewood safety points are medicines, heart health and ED itself. Read these answers, then check with your doctor if any apply to you.

Can Horsewood replace ED medication?

No. Horsewood is not a treatment for erectile dysfunction and not a substitute for a prescribed ED medicine. ED can be an early sign of heart disease, so it deserves a doctor visit (AUA, 2018).

Will Horsewood affect a PSA test?

No test data exist for Horsewood. In the CAMUS trial, saw palmetto at 320 to 960 mg a day did not change PSA more than placebo (Andriole et al., 2013), and Horsewood holds 20 mg. Tell your doctor about every supplement before a PSA test.

Is Horsewood safe with a blood thinner?

Ask your doctor first. Saw palmetto may raise bruising and bleeding risk with blood thinners and around surgery (MSKCC, 2023).

Can Horsewood affect my heart rhythm?

Horny goat weed has case reports of a fast heart rhythm, mostly in older people with heart disease (Drugs.com, 2026). If you have a heart condition, get your doctor's OK first.

Who should not take Horsewood?

The label rules out anyone under 18. Pregnant or nursing women and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician first.

Is Horsewood on FDA's tainted product list?

As of October 13, 2026, we found no FDA tainted-product notice for Horsewood. FDA says a product missing from its list is not proof that it is safe (FDA, 2026).

On nitrates? FDA has found undeclared sildenafil, tadalafil and other drugs in many sexual-enhancement products sold as supplements (FDA, 2023). With nitrate heart medicine, those drugs can drop blood pressure dangerously.

The side effects page covers each ingredient's known risks.

Buying Horsewood: price, shipping and refunds

Horsewood comes in 2, 3 and 6-bottle packs from the USA Authorized Retailer. These answers cover price, shipping and how a refund starts.

What does Horsewood cost?

On October 13, 2026, the sales page listed 2 bottles at $79 each, 3 at $69 each and 6 at $49 each. There was no single-bottle pack. Confirm the total at checkout.

Which Horsewood pack ships free?

In the U.S., only the 6-bottle pack ships free. The 2- and 3-bottle packs add a shipping fee shown at checkout, and that amount is not published.

How do I request a Horsewood refund?

Call the order desk at +1 (641) 711-1414 with your order ID. The guarantee runs 60 days from purchase unless the sales page prints a longer window.

Should I keep empty Horsewood bottles or return unused ones?

The brand's FAQ says to send back empty bottles, while its refund page asks for unused bottles in perfect condition. Ask the order desk which rule applies before you mail anything.

Where do Horsewood returns go?

Confirm the address with the order desk first. This site's returns address is 1740 Broadway, Floor 15, New York, NY 10019. Include your full name, email and order ID, and pay for tracked shipping.

Can the website email see my Horsewood order?

No. [email protected] handles page errors, privacy and press only. Order questions go to the order desk.

Ship with tracking

You pay the return postage. A tracked parcel proves it arrived.

Watch for the credit

Step-by-step terms are in the refund policy.

Horsewood reviews, research and press

Little independent information on Horsewood exists yet, and this site says so. These answers cover reviews, studies and the paid coverage you may find online.

Why do the review cards on this site show blanks?

No review has been matched to a real order yet. Until one is, each card, the score and the count stay as marked blanks.

Has anyone studied the finished Horsewood formula?

Nobody has published a clinical study of the finished formula. The research on this site covers single ingredients, mostly at far higher doses.

Is the Horsewood press release a news story?

No. It is a paid release on a wire service from June 2026. It quotes older prices and the one-capsule dose.

Why do so many Horsewood review sites look alike?

Many lookalike review pages repeat the same sales copy and link to checkouts. They are marketing pages, not independent tests.

Still have a Horsewood question?

A person can help. The order desk handles placed orders and refunds. The website inbox handles corrections to these pages, privacy and press.
